On November 6, the Federal Council decided to bring the Financial Services Act (FinSA) and the Financial Institutions Act (FinIA) into force on 1 January 2020 and adopted the respective implementing ordinances (https:\/\/www.admin.ch\/gov\/de\/start\/dokumentation\/medienmitteilungen.msg-id-76957.html<\/a>).<\/p>\n

As of next year financial service providers will have to operate in a changed regulatory landscape and will in some cases be subject to new licensing requirements. In addition, the offering of financial instruments will be newly and comprehensively regulated.<\/p>\n
